It is finally Fall and all the heart and body warming recipes are coming around. Cinnamon is one of the most versatile spices around. You can use them in desserts as much as in savory dishes like chili. Besides it's distinct flavor it also comes with health benefits such as balancing blood sugar levels and is high in antioxidants and a natural anti-inflammatory.
This is an easy and quick breakfast and gives a little twist to your standard plain oatmeal. The Molasses gives it the deep nutty flavor and the nut butter will keep it all creamy while adding TRU Protein to become a balanced meal. I hope you give it a try and enjoy it as much as I do.

In the past, I haven’t had the best experiences with adding protein powder to my oatmeal, but mixing it in at the end is brilliant. This came out very creamy! I didn’t have the exact ingredients, but even with making a few substitutions (Vanilla protein powder, honey, craisins, coconut milk, *added flax), it still tasted great!
