Just in time for the holidays we bring a hot chocolate to the table, because if a hot chocolate doesn't get you into the spirit then nothing will. Chocolate and caramel are a match made in heaven and when the Dulce De Leche protein was released I was psyched! Hopefully you enjoy this recipe as much as I did.
Caramel Hot Chocolate
Recipe makes 1 serving
Time: 10 minutes
1 scoop TRU Dulce De Leche Protein
1 tbsp Cocoa Powder
1 tsp Dulce De Leche
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 pieces Lily's Dark Chocolate
1 1/2 Cups Plant Milk
1/8 cup mini Marshmallows
1) In a shaker bottle combine milk, protein powder, cocoa powder and vanilla extract and shake until combined and lump free.
2) Pour into a small sauce pan and heat on medium heat while stirring regularly. Add chocolate and dulce de leche when warm and wait until fully melted and incorporated to serve at desired temperature.
3) Top with mini marshmallows or if you prefer some whipped cream.
