Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Shake

Spooky Season is just around the corner! Curb your sugar cravings and “trick or treat” yourself with this creamy drink. 

Our Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein is decadent and thick. With 20 grams of protein and a rich chocolatey taste, this drink will have you energized, without the guilt of cheating with sugary candy.


We added cacao powder to this smoothie because natural cacao is beneficial for blood circulation and grounding, while it also enhances the chocolate flavor. 

The oat milk in this recipe will make it delightfully creamy, but you can use any unsweetened plant milk that you have in your fridge.


Top your drink with melted chocolate by simply putting your dark chocolate in a glass or porcelain bowl and melt for 30 seconds in the microwave. Dip the rim of your glass in the chocolate, sprinkle on a few cacao nibs, Reese’s pieces or crushed peanuts while it’s still melty, and enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop TRU Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • ½ frozen banana
  • 1.5  cups unsweetened oat milk


For the rim:

  • 1/4 cup unsweetened dark chocolate
  • Garnish with Reese’s
