What if you take the "guilty" out of guilty pleasure? You are left with pure pleasure. If you have a hard time passing up your favorite coffee shop chain's sweet icy coffee drink, let me shed some light onto the nutritional facts. Did you know that just one of those has over 60g of sugar and 14 g of fat? Basically replacing a small meal... a small meal made out of sugar (yikes!). Time to take 5 minutes and make your very own. Let's welcome the star of the show, TRU's new flavor, Dulce de Leche! This frappe is sweet and icy with a fraction of the sugar that you would get with the ones you find at coffee shops and loaded with good quality protein.
TRU Dulce De Leche Frappe
Recipe makes 1 serving
Time: 5 minutes
1 scoop TRU Dulce De Leche Protein
1/2 cup Espresso
1/2 cup Plant Milk, unsweetened
1 tbsp Dulce De Leche
2 cups Ice Cubes
3 tbsp Coconut Whipped Topping or Whipped Cream
1) Add ice cubes, cooled coffee, TRU protein, plant milk and dulce de leche into a high speed blender with tamper.
2) Blend, stirring with tamper, until blended and smooth.
3) Top with coconut whipped topping or whipped cream and enjoy.
