Creamsicle Smoothie

Recipe by Cornelia Sabrina,  @Cornelia_Sabrina on IG

What happens when you buy more than you can eat but hate to waste food? Right, it ends up in the freezer. I am notorious for throwing fruit that I cannot finish that week into the freezer, often even unpeeled (You can peel it after it is frozen if you wash the peel with warm water for a minute and use a knife to peel). I had some bananas and oranges left and it only made sense to make a smoothie. After a long run Sunday morning I was way too hungry to cook something, which means a smoothie was the perfect addition to refuel and get something into my system. If you want to reduce the total calories and prefer a smoothie that is not super icy you can remove the banana to make a less thick smoothie. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
