Recipe Corner: Immunity Booster Drink

There are so many ways to utilize your BCAA's and love to use them to make refreshing slightly sweet drinks instead of drinking something unhealthy out of a can. Ginger is known to help with digestion as well as support healthy immune function and combined with elderberry it can give you a boost right when you need it. Check the health and supplement aisle if you have a hard time finding elderberry syrup or order it online. Make sure it is from a reputable brand and not a flavored syrup. Besides the health benefits it tastes great and refreshing. You won't need those syrup flavored teas from the typical coffee shop.
Immunity Booster
Recipe makes 1 serving
Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
2 bags of Ginger Tea
½ scoop TRU BCAA (I used tropical popsicle)
1 tsp Elderberry Syrup
8 Oz Water
_______________________________
1) Boil 8 oz water and steep tea bags for 10-15 minutes. If tou prefer to use sparkling water in the end use very little water and make a super concentrated tea.
2) Fill a shaker bottle with ice, pour in the tea, BCAA's and elderberry syrup and mix well. Pour into a glass over ice. Now you can fill it with sparkling water if you decided to go that route and enjoy. You can also add a lemon slice if you like.
